Service Description

This course combines a child’s fun-loving joy to explore the world of science with a higher academic rigor. As kids enter middle school, we encourage them to take a deeper dive into how the world works. This year we are offering an age-appropriate introduction to Forensics. Day one begins with a crime scene, and the entire year the kids are tasked to figure out how the person died. Kids will engage in engineering labs, chemistry analysis, DNA detective work, and more! The course is specifically designed to meet a middle-school learner’s cognitive level, and it provides kids the tools to make a smooth transition into future high school courses. Labs meet on Thursdays in Cedar Park from 11:00-12:30 PM every week. *This course is for 7th and 8th grade students only. Please take a look at my Applied Math and Science course for younger students!
