DISSECTING AND DIAGNOSING THE NERVOUS SYSTEM

This lab starts with an interactive overview of the central nervous system. Students will review the different parts of the brain, and what those parts of the brain control.

Next, students will label and dissect sheep brains, taking the information they've learned from the beginning of the lab and applying it to an actual organ. 

​

Students will then be taught about a variety of nervous system disorders and apply different brain surgeon techniques to alleviate the symptoms of the neurological disorders.
