Water and Colors Fun!

See how water moves through roots in plants with this fun lab. Explore transpiration through colored water traveling through cloth. We’ll also see what happens when we soak a flower in different colored water.

 

Next, we’ll see how colors change when combined. Kids will learn about the scientific method by making hypotheses regarding what colors they think the mixtures will create.

 

At the very end we’ll make our own tie-dye shirts using the colors we’ve created.
