KIDNEY DISSECTION AND EXPLORATION

Students will begin with an interactive lesson regarding the structures of the kidney. Connections will be made between the kidney, the endocrine system, and the excretory system. Next, students will be given a halved kidney to label and dissect. 

Once the dissection is complete, students will complete a wet-lab over different synthetic urine samples. Students will diagnose and treat various excretory disorders.
