This lab explores the different factors that affect how far an object will travel through the air. Kids will construct their own catapults, then experiment with differently weighted ammunition to see which travels the farthest. Next, kids will experiment with the angle of the catapult's lever to determine which angle will make things fly higher and/or longer.
