Service Description

Take your understanding of geometry to the next level with ABLE’s Virtual Geometry course. This comprehensive course strengthens the skills gained in Algebra 1 by diving into the study of geometric concepts including the basic elements of geometry, proofs, parallel and perpendicular lines, the coordinate plane, triangles, quadrilaterals, polygons, circles, trigonometry, congruence and similarity, surface area, volume and transformations. This class is structured to provide kids with assignments throughout the week that prepare them for class on Fridays. Students view engaging videos and complete practice problems with immediate feedback. In class, we review the material together and apply what we've learned to accomplish various objectives. Students are provided with a physical and digital copy of the curriculum (from All Things Algebra), and they have access to answer keys, definition tables, virtual office hours, and detailed videos if they need help beyond the 1.5 hours of class instruction. Online lectures are fun, interactive, and informative, and parent feedback is provided weekly. All homework assignments and assessments are graded by the teacher!
