Service Description
This full-year Physics course takes students on an exciting, hands-on journey through the laws that govern motion, forces, energy, waves, electricity, and the modern universe. Students don’t just learn formulas — they experience physics through interactive labs, real-world challenges, simulations, engineering builds, and collaborative problem-solving. From launching paper planes and analyzing motion graphs to modeling free fall, investigating friction, and mastering Newton’s Laws, each unit builds practical understanding alongside strong mathematical reasoning. Frequent labs, task-card challenges, scavenger hunts, and mini-projects keep learning active and engaging while reinforcing core concepts and scientific thinking skills. As the course progresses, students explore projectile and circular motion, gravitation, energy conservation, momentum, waves, thermal physics, electrostatics, circuits, magnetism, and optics — culminating in modern physics topics such as relativity, nuclear processes, and the origins of the universe. Students design and test circuits, build motors and speakers, experiment with lenses and mirrors, and use digital tools and PhET simulations to visualize invisible phenomena. With a strong emphasis on inquiry, application, and conceptual mastery, this course prepares students not only for advanced science study but also for real-world problem solving, technical careers, and a deeper understanding of how physics shapes everyday life.
