Service Description

Welcome to Pre-Algebra with ABLE! In this middle school math course we will be expanding our skills through engaging, realistic, and fun lessons! New algebraic concepts will be introduced such as equations, expressions and inequalities. We will dive into ratios and percentages and expand on fraction operations. It is imperative that we learn to apply these concepts to our real lives and make a connection that is meaningful to what we are learning. It is my hope that I can build your child's confidence in their math abilities while creating a fun learning environment along the way! This class is structured to provide kids with assignments throughout the week that prepare them for class on Fridays. Students view engaging videos and complete practice problems with immediate feedback. In class, we review the material together and apply what we've learned to accomplish various objectives. Students are provided with a physical and digital copy of the curriculum (from All Things Algebra), and they have access to answer keys, definition tables, virtual office hours, and detailed videos if they need help beyond the 1.5 hours of class instruction. Online lectures are fun, interactive, and informative, and parent feedback is provided weekly. All homework assignments and assessments are graded by the teacher!
